UN Resident Coordinator Recommits UN Efforts in Liberia to Combat GBV

Speaking at the official launch to kick off the 16 days of activism , in Kakata, Margibi on the 25th of November,  Mr. Scott  noted that the UN in Liberia will continue to provide support and work with partners to end all forms of gender based violence in Liberia. He stated that, "several gains have been made in ending violence against women and girls in Liberia but a lot more still needs to be done".  The Resident Coordinator encouraged everyone to love in a world where women and girls are free from all forms of violence and discrimination.

Mr. Scott stressed that "our activism is 365 days of the year and we are here to speak out against  gender based violence. "No means No! "

The launch was attended by members of government ,development partners and civil society.
