UN Resident Coordinator Launches the Migrants as Messengers in Liberia Association

Migrants as Messenger Association of Liberia-MAMAL work to raise awareness on the risk of irregular migration and the prevention of human trafficking.
The United Nations Resident Coordinator in Liberia ,Niels Scott, officially launched the Migrants as Messengers Association of Liberia-MAMAL on August 25th at the Mamba Point Hotel in Monrovia.
The program was attended by the United States Embassy, Chinese Embassy, USAID/Liberia, European Union Delegation in Liberia, the World Bank, African Development Bank, Ministers of Government, Orange Foundation and many high level dignitaries. The Association was established by returned migrants who participated in the International Organisation for Migration-IOM- Migrants as Messengers Project as Volunteers.
