United Nations Liberia Annual Results Report 2024
This 2024 Annual Results Report outlines the United
Nations’ contributions under the Government of Liberia
and United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation
Framework (UNSDCF) 2018– 2025. It highlights key
achievements across sectors, including agriculture, health,
education, technical and vocational training, governance,
and gender equality. The UN’s support focused on strengthening institutional
capacities, improving service delivery, and promoting social
inclusion, gender equality, and women’s empowerment.
These efforts enhanced access to essential social
services and expanded economic opportunities for the
most vulnerable groups, including women, youth, and
persons with disabilities.
Realizing Liberia’s development aspirations and the
SDGs will require strategic partnership, innovation, and
commitment. Mobilizing domestic resources, engaging
the private sector, and fostering community- driven
development will be essential. The UN remains a steadfast
and trusted development partner, working alongside the
Government, civil society, private sector, and international
stakeholders to advance progress toward the SDGs and
the AU’s Agenda 2063.
I extend my gratitude to the Government of Liberia,
development partners, and all stakeholders whose
contributions have made these achievements possible.
Most importantly, I commend the resilience, determination,
and ambitions of the Liberian people, whose aspirations
continue to inspire our collective mission.
Together, we will continue to build a united, prosperous, and sustainable Liberia.
